Ok, I was just wondering how many of you guys know java…and how well.
I’m thinking of getting a bunch of people together to create a 3D Java game using Blender and the Jmonkey platform.
In all seriousness, if you could email me if your interested @

I don’t check it too often as I’m fairly busy a lot……but in all seriousness…there is possible money to be made here.

I know a lot of you are going to say that it's a slow way of programming.

In that case, I'm open up for suggestion, but it needs to have the capability to run client/web/mobile device and connect to the same server.

Sorry for not really posting today.

School has caught up with me and I have to finish up a ton of homework that I should've done earlier.

I'll get to all of your comments tomorrow after classes and show some love as well :)

This blahg

So yea, I don't think I'm getting enough page impressions to keep this blog running. I'll still going keep crookedoutlook.

That's what it is all about isn't it? IMPRESSIONS, and I need a lot more of them.

So tell your friends and family(lol) about this blog.

Money isn't everything.

Oh, I was seriously considering a Green zentai suit, however, for Halloween I'm going as the Greek primal god of chaos (The nothingness that sprang everything).

Have to say, I’m really enjoying participating in such a rich blogging community. All of you guys are the best :D.

Day went pretty well. Actually got some things cleaned up, head fish and chips for lunch, did my homework, and just lazed about.

To answer some questions from comments in the previous post…

1. I go to community college and my parents help pay. I have to pay for all books though, but that’s fairly easy. I refuse to deal with loans this early in life.

2. Jobs market in my area is actually vibrant. I know jobs are tough for a lot of people, but it’s all about confidence and how you sell yourself. You can get a job anywhere, you just gotta man up and do the work in finding one. It’s kind of like this whole blogging thing. Making sure you keep up on comments and adding fresh content, as well as showing some love to your followers and viewers.

I’m thinking about getting a Zentai suit for halloween. Prefer it be all black, any suggestions on sites to get one cheap?

Black Lycra Spandex Unisex Zentai Suit

First day without job

TL;DR = Feels good man.

Now, I know a lot of you commented with “Do you have another job?” and “WOOO STICK IT TO THE MAN”.

To answer the first bit. No, but I’m going to college….so…didn’t really NEED one anyways.

and for the second one.. helll yaaaa.

Woke up early, played with the dogs, played MGS4, Minecraft, Java code, and then just rode the motorcycle around town.

Now I’m on to cleaning up the house and doing homework.

I’m relaxed and feel good. Question to you guys, what makes you feel good.

Names are redacted to protect me from stupidity, but needless to say, I quit!

This is Ian Crook's official resignation from [REDACTED] effective immediately. Due to heavy thought of yesterdays example of how a medical condition would be handled at [REDACTED], I find that this has to be done immediately to ensure that no further medical problems will arise from working at that store due to negligence.

I am faxing over my Pulmonary doctor note stating that I need that mask while construction is present on site.

I also want to take note at the missing days I received (10/11/2010 and partial day of 10/10/2010) due to the fact I required a mask to ensure safety from my asthma, and that they will be brought up to Human Resources.

Needless to say, during those two days I felt singled out and embarrassed by my condition in front of my peers.

I hope the best for all of you and that everyone takes a serious look at procedure and policy regarding any further health related issues, as I fear for the next person that get's hurt.

Work tomorrow

Well, my boss called me 30 minutes after getting sent home, told me that he had a chat with HR regarding the issue, and found that they have to reasonably accommodate. Now, that doesn’t mean they have to pay for a scuba set, but it’s well within reason to allow me to wear a mask during construction. Needless to say, my hours missed are going to be discussed.

This is pretty epic trollwin for me. Everyone thinks it’s funny but the managers.

So, Adsense

I'm not really sure how this adsense thing works,

What is CTR and all that?

Can someone explain to me how adsense really works?

Well, I got sent home because I was wearing a mask due to unsafe conditions at the workplace.

Now to compile OSHA information :)

Occupational Asthma

Heading to work now. They’re undergoing renovations, and with me being an asthmatic AS WELL as allergic to construction dust/dust in general, I get to wear a mask all day at work and make it look there’s a SARS outbreak or something.

I’ll post some actual content tonight. :)

So this is going to be my possible transition to blogger from my other website

Hopefully things work out for the best.

The Town

The Town Movie

Today I review The Town, directed by Ben Affleck. It was decent, not the best thing I’ve seen, especially for the length of it. It’s about 2 hours of a group of organized bank robbers in Charleston, Mass. The lead protagonist falls in love with the hostage victim at the beginning of the movie and how he feels throughout the experience leads him to make the decisions he does. It’s a very cliche “Bad guy wanting to become good” type of movie with a little twist of Oceans 11.

The Town Movie

There were bits of the movie that created “Movie hypnosis" (Where the parts so dry you start daydreaming during the movie), but it picks it back up in the last 30-45 minutes quite well. The end seemed a little disconnected from what was happening during the build up points. Overall, it was a decent movie that I enjoyed, but didn’t love.

It’s worth going to see in the theatres, but not a re-watcher.

I don’t think I need to say much about this. Pretty self explanatory.

tl;dr = It’s a rental

Based off the novel by Ned Vizzini, directors and writers Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck show the story of a depressed teen named Craig (Keir Gilchrist) who finds himself thinking suicidal thoughts and convinces a doctor to check him into the mental illness facility. It actually doesn’t show him getting any sort of treatment at all, but instead shows him getting better by all the other committed people there. I guess it takes a village to raise a child, never said what kind of mental condition they’re in. He befriends Bobby (Zach Galafianakis) who’s another patient with a heart of gold going through his own problems.

The movies message is that we need to make sure we’re living our life to what we want to achieve versus what the expectations of others. Good message, but there are some problems with the movie.

I find that each scene is somewhat disconnected from each other, that if you threw them all up in the air and went with whatever landed, you’d still get the same rough idea of what’s going on. It took away from the connection I got with the characters.

Now, if you’re thinking that this is another Galafianakis movie, you’re wrong. He’s still quirky, but nowhere near as crazy as he is in other movies (I find this ironic). His role with Craig is pretty important, however the end leaves you with no satisfaction of how his life ended up. It just stops his character.

It’s predictable, quirky, somewhat romantic drama that just….feels like it’s missing it’s finishing move.

If you’re theatres are cheap, go see it, however if they’re any more than $9, just rent it.
